As a Driver Trainer/Instructor with 20 years experience in the industry – 10 years with RACV Drive School & now 10 years as a Owner/Operator of About Face Drive School, I offer a safe transition from L’s to P’s. Driving on today’s roads is a challenge which requires the right skills, attitudes and knowledge of road laws. I recognize the individual, their different needs and learning styles—whatever your experience or age, we teach to satisfy those needs.

The driving programs are behavioural-based which means that you learn at your own pace. Regardless of your age, I will tick off your competencies as you acquire the necessary skills and only then will proceed to the next step. So whatever your learning pace, I will customize your lessons to suit your personal abilities and time frame.

At the end of each lesson we’ll take a few moments to discuss your progress with you and recommend areas you could practice if you get the opportunity to go out driving with another qualified driver by your side (such as with your parents or another mature adult with a valid, full driving licence).

METEC is a Not-for-Profit Road Safety organisation offering Learner, Advanced Driving Courses & Driver Education in Melbourne. METEC coaching approach is designed to provide a pre-learning experience that is tailored for a more real, thorough and attuned to the reality of licensed driving.

METEC provides Senior Schools – Driver Programs to more than 80 schools from all over Melbourne who incorporate Driver education and training in part of their school courses. The facility, built on 25 acres of land, has 5km of private sealed roads with built-in real traffic features e.g., intersections, traffic lights and roundabouts to provide the ideal, safe learner training facility for young drivers.

Australian Driver Trainers’ Association (Vic)

I am an approved member of the Australian Driver Trainers’ Association Victoria (ADTAV). As a member of the ADTAV I am a qualified driving instructors, who follows the Association’s Code of Conduct. As learner drivers, you can expect high professional standards, expert driver education and business ethics from our members. The benefit to me as a member, I can expect ADTAV to continually work towards improving the driver training industry for the benefit of my driving school and you as learner drivers.
